Australia reduces warning on Bangladesh travel

Australian government reduces warning on travel to Bangladesh From now on, Australian citizens can travel to Bangladesh without any restrictions. However, due to the threat of political violence and kidnapping, the country’s Foreign Office’s Travel Advisory Department has advised Australian citizens to reconsider travel requirements in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region.

The reduced warning was highlighted on the Australian Foreign Office website on Monday. Earlier, there were huge threats of terrorist attacks in Bangladesh, warning that Australian citizens should not travel unless there is special need in Bangladesh.

Previously, Australia was on the alert level with countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Congo, Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia and Bangladesh. Now France, Mexico, Belgium, Kuwait, the Philippines, India and other countries are on alert level. As a result, diplomatic experts are hopeful that Bangladesh-Australia relations will improve.

The Bangladesh High Commission in Australia is very excited about reducing the warning on travel to Bangladesh. Bangladesh High Commissioner to the country Mohammad Sufiur Rahman said, “We have been working on this for a long time. When I got the news everyone was happy. This is a really great achievement for Bangladesh. Now the traffic between the two countries will increase. Naturally, business, education and tourism will have a positive impact on everything. ‘
